Helen is founder and Senior Marketing Specialist at ProLeap Marketing which was born in 2010 to fill the void of outsourced marketing personnel in the market.
She started off, by chance, when a small consultancy firm engaged her marketing services to provide them with industry analysis and advice on business strategy and marketing plans. That was her ‘ah-ha’ moment — she realised that there would be similar small-medium sized companies who were in need of non-permanent marketing staff.
Today, the ProLeap team is proudly made up of likeminded mums who each wear different professional hats — marketing specialist, bilingual copywriter, public relations consultant, translator, photographer, designer, events coordinator — but who all want the same thing in life. While we have chosen to leave the traditional workforce and our priority is our family and children, there is a burning personal need to stay work relevant, to stay in touch with the working world. We have discarded the common notion that one can only be either a full-time working parent or a stay-home parent, not both. Subconsciously, Helen has created an environment where responsible and experienced women have teamed up to work on marketing projects for multi-national companies, while nursing their babies.
We believe in setting the right example for our children and that when we choose to do something (a project, having a family, a hobby), it means doing it properly or not at all. The ProLeap mums have chosen to live the Mumpreneur life, on our own terms!

From our humble beginnings in 2010, our clients have trusted ProLeap with their marketing needs, often engaging us for extended campaigns, or additional services. Some clients have even been with us since Day 1! Today, our dynamic team serves a variety of clients — long-term retainer, repeat, referral, new — from many different industries.

Main Clientele:
There are typically 3 types of clients who needed our assistance: first, new businesses which want publicity to get their name out there; secondly, mature, established companies which require specific professional support; and lastly, unstable companies which are struggling and require additional professionals to analyse their market, identify their problem(s) and develop a strategy to overcome the problem(s).
